Method
This recipe book has been produced by Australian Red Cross, Mole and Sovereign Rivers Branch to commemorate its 70th anniversary.
The recipes use fresh ingredients grown within the Tenterfield district, either produced on farm or from the vegetable garden. Some of these recipes have been chosen because of their versatility in substituting other seasonal ingredients. Many are quick and easy ideas designed to help use up the inevitable glut harvested from vegetable gardens each season.
We hope this book will prove a useful memento of Tenterfield for those who enjoy eating locally produced fresh food.
